DAY 5 – Prequel Stage of this challenge.
To help my liver and colon, I must eat at least 1 LIVER-LOVING FOOD from each group and at least 2 COLON-CARING FOODS and 2 PROTEIN and 2 tablespoons HEALTHY OIL.
Today’s Meal (Sunday)–
Breakfast: 3 eggs
Snack:
Lunch: smoothie/juicing – kale, carrots, celery, apple
Dinner: black bean soup and house salad, with broccoli, leftover roasted chicken, olive oil dressing
Drank my 92 ounces of water with fresh squeezed lemon juice.
THOUGHTS: Today was lawn mowing day here at our house. We have about 1.5 acres of land that we mow. It takes about half the day to mow and weed-eat everything. Mowing the lawn half the day, I didn’t have time to stop and think about food. I kept my water bottle with lemon juice by my side and just rode.
My family LOVES having black beans and rice. I was very disappointed that couldn’t partake in tonight’s dinner. But at least having a bowl of the black beans made my day!
Just 2 more days until I’m ready for the next stage – THE ONE-DAY DETOX DIET. I can’t wait!!!
